Cannon was excited to actually get to go to school and see his friends! I was excited to go out and run a ton of errands. I don’t know if Emmy was excited to go with me but she was a good sport.

After picking Cannon up we went through the car wash then ran to Costco to pick up groceries for our trip.

Costco’s parking lot had some very big snow mountains. I wonder how long these will take to melt.

While at Costco I grabbed this set of pepeer spray. I have been thinking more and more about my safety out on runs and this seems small enough to just throw in my pack and take with me.

The rest of the day was spent packing and prepping for our trip. Packing for the kids is my favorite part, all of their gear is so cute!

We leave tomorrow for our trip and I am planning to get up early to get miles in before we leave. It’s tempting to wait until we get to Fruita so I can enjoy some of my favorite trails.

But you just never know and some easy miles with the kids might be even more fun!
