Today was a rest day from running and I have to say I don’t love it, I really am looking forward to starting that 100 day run streak, just hoping I can stay healthy!
I caught up on some much needed sleep this morning then headed out to the playground to meet some friends. It really brightens my day when we get to see friends and be outside.
Hopefully we will have a fairly mild winter so we can still be outside until we are past this Covid time. Although moisture would be nice here in the west, so bring on the snow then sun the next day!
Cannon also helped me make pumpkin bread for my parents for Grandparents Day, Emmy napped while we baked. Grandparent’s Day was on Sunday but we couldn’t find any canned pumpkin so we needed an extra day to cook a pie pumpkin. We were forgiven for our tardiness when the goods were delivered.
We use THIS recipe but also add dark chocolate chips.
For the afternoon we delivered our bread to my parents house and played with their dogs. Then we went home to work on some preschool activities.
I really don’t know how you homeschool mamas do it!!!
For dinner we had steak salad with left over flank steak we made earlier in the week, I really love this meal!
The kiddos love “olive fingers”
