Happy weekend everyone! My day started with getting up a little later with the kids, poor Cory was up all night trying to get a project done for work before we leave for a week.
Cannon had a good day at school and even got an award for being kind to his friends.
While Cannon was at school Emmy enjoyed coloring for a total of three minuets and hanging out with Cory.
I spent the morning running nine miles on the treadmill.
I re-watched Unbreakable about the 2010 Western States (so good).
After lunch Cannon gets “quiet time” while Emmy naps and it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. I get to spend some one-on-one time with him and sometimes snuggle.
We spent the rest of the day shopping, packing and prepping for our trip. Emmy was already picking out her pumpkins.
She even helped us carry the groceries inside.
This evening we heard the news to Ruth Bader Ginsburg passing and are so devastated.
She was an incredible human and a shining light for this country. I can only hope that her legacy will inspire more girls to follow in her footprints. Rest in peace RBG, you were the greatest of all time.

Posts for the rest of the week will likely be very short since we will be off on the road but I still hope to post and share what we are up to.
