I know that summer doesn’t actually start for another month but today was the first day of summer break for us! Our weather for the day was crazy, it’s been nearly 90 and today it started out with rain and ended dumping snow.

I had big dreams of some epic adventure to kick off summer but once the weather changed we needed to pivot to indoor activities. I do believe in “No bad weather” but our favorite mountain locations were getting 13+ inches of snow today.

Our solution was to head downtown to the Children’s Museum. We LOVE it here.

Our favorite area is the outdoor space, but that will have to wait until another time.

After playing for a few hours the kids ate lunches we packed in the morning in the car while we drove. We stopped at the library to return a bunch of books and videos since we are going to be out of town next week.

When we left the library the snow really started to come down.

We hurried to cover our pots and veggie garden, fingers crossed that our baby plants don’t die!

Cory actually went into his office today, which is rare, so we took the opportunity to visit him.

The kids love seeing the space ship. Cory also took his bike in but had a lot to bring home so we gave him a ride.
