Another weekend that we aren’t camping so we were sure to hit up the ski slopes.
We wanted to meet Cory’s cousins to ski and they didn’t have season passes to Keystone so we met them at Winter Park where you can ski the Galloping Goose lift without paying for a ticket.
This lift and green run was the perfect step for us as we are ready to graduate from the bunny hill to short green runs.
The lift is short and easy, the kids have been doing really well on the lifts! If you are a beginner I feel like you could get away with not buying a season pass for your first year.
Both kids are loving skiing still, getting more confident and excited to do longer runs.
On the way home we ran into some ski traffic, but way less than we usually hit coming home from Keystone. Stopped for our typical Après-ski treat of coffee so we don’t fall asleep at the wheel.
We really liked Winter Park, and would really like to visit again!
If you ski, where is your favorite place to go? It’s fun learning something so new with our kids.
