Man, I am late to this party! It’s been a bumpy ride and I hadn’t even thought of monthly goals until yesterday but I think it’s will be fun to bring them back, I do love goals. Now that my focus is shifting to training for Ironman Canada I feel refreshed and ready to get back at it. I am searching for local races to fill in my spring and summer calendar and getting excited about upcoming adventures.
March and April are crazy months here in Colorado, swinging from beautiful sun drenched 70 degree days to ice and snow the next. At least the mornings are beautiful.
With March having travel, a sort of race (details coming soon) and crazy weather I will keep my goals simple. In 2012 I was prepping for Ironman Coeur d’Alene I had what felt like a really solid month of training in March. So my goal is to beat all my totals from March 2012. Canada is just a month later so this seems like a good comparison.

I have a couple friends who are doing IM Canada. I hear it is a beautiful course and time of year. That is incredibly exciting. You should do 70.3 Boise as one of your “filler” races. 🙂 I am looking forward to following your journey – it’s always inspiring watching others succeed and meet their goals.

Hi Kristin, I would love to go do Boise some day but I have hit my limit on triathlon travel for this year (boo) that one looks like fun. But hopefully soon I will be out in OR for Pac Crest.

Hope your March training is going well, Beth! Those are some solid 2012 numbers! As excited as I am for Wisco, I kinda wish I were racing Canada again this year… it’s so awesome! Have a blast at Cabo next weekend! 🙂
